Choosing a Right Side or Left Side FittingA Left fitting magazine is clipped on to the rifle from the left hand side and will be indexed with the left hand. A Right fitting magazine is clipped on to the rifle from the right hand side and will be indexed with the right hand. Both types of magazine will fit on either right or left handed gun which gives the possibility for the following. A right hand rifle with some one who uses a glove on the left hand could use a right side fitting magazine - the rifle would be cocked and indexed with the un-gloved right hand. A right hand rifle with a side wheel on the left hand side of the gun could use a right side fitting magazine - the rifle would be cocked and indexed with the right hand. The opposite combinations are true for a left hand rifle. Photo comparing Left and Right fitting .177 magazines Click Photo comparing Left and Right fitting .22 magazines   Click |
